STAY HERE FOR THE VIEW
Due to cold weather in Eagle County, Colorado we decided to push on towards Grand Junction and were able to secure a last-minute reservation for a couple of nights at Palisade Basecamp just outside of Grand Junction. This was officially our first stay at an RV park or resort. We got so lucky.
Palisade Basecamp is nestled on a bluff overlooking the Colorado River. We got an interior site, but the exterior sites literally overlook the river. If we ever stay here again we’ll be getting a river view site. Located just east of Grand Junction, its literally a basecamp to the Western Slope. Ski resorts, hiking trails and river activities are moments away. In fact, you can walk right down to the river from inside the RV park and it is a great place to do yoga, get some work done or just enjoy the views.
